Campus Lead - Experienced CDS or CDW - Calgary

This position will be the operational manager of a Summit out-of-school campus.


  • Must be able to open and/or close campus.
  • Be familiar with Licensing Regulations and Accreditation Standards (including PAL).
  • Familiar with Summit Policies & Procedures
  • Maintain the CL calendar and processes.
  • Coach appropriate programming with focus on Summit foundational programming components - quality, leadership, community involvement.
  • Must lead, coach and inspire campus team to create and maintain environment in alignment with The Summit Way.
  • Attend Campus Lead meeting Weekly.
  • Run weekly campus team meeting.
  • Constant updating of accreditation tasks.
  • Be on-site for scheduled accreditation visit.
  • Manage campus team, i.e., enforce policy, disciplinary meetings if required, etc.
  • Manage campus team HR needs via BambooHR, i.e., vacation requests, training.
  • Upload licensing reports to Director of Operations via Google Docs.
  • Understand all Summit registration processes/dates/deadlines (Kids, Spring, Summer).
  • Have good working knowledge of SchoolCare Works.
  • Must be able to work in ratio as needed.


  • Ensure campus is licensing compliant and accredited.
  • Ensure all programming is award-winning calibre (Prime Ministers, Alberta Child Care, Parent’s Choice) and reflects The Summit Way.
  • Be an advocate for Summit in all customer and employee  interactions.
  • Increased employee satisfaction; low staff turn-over.
  • Increased customer satisfaction.

  • Positive and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to work long shifts or varied hours to accommodate operational or corporate events - this includes nights and/or weekends.
  • Excitement to drive and create new processes and systems on a daily basis.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly organized and efficient.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Computer proficiency and understanding of corporate used 3rd party software.
  • Ability to oversee a variety of projects at the same time.
  • Managing and working with a variety of people or projects.
  • Strong management and organizational skills.
  • Extraordinary leadership and proactivity.
  • Must be certified Child Development Worker or Child Development Supervisor status (Certified Level 2 or 3).
