Support the delivery of creative experience opportunities in a safe and caring environment and supporting campus initiative to do so.
Be familiar with Licensing Regulations and Accreditation Standards.
Familiar with Summit Policies & Procedures.
Lead & plan appropriate programming with focus on Summit foundational programming components - quality, leadership, community involvement.
Facilitate interesting and engaging activities that are quality age appropriate programs.
Dedication to supporting the growth and healthy development of children that encourages an appreciation of learning.
Be aware of accreditation goals & try to incorporate into programming.
Update BambooHR for training goals/vacation.
Understand all Summit dates (Kids, Spring, Summer).
Have good working knowledge of SchoolCare Works.
Uphold campus to health & safety standards
Clean and maintain campus, toys, etc.
This role works with school aged children 5-12 years of age
Build positive relationships with all Summit stakeholders including parents, prinicipals, teachers, landlords, community associations, etc
Ensure all programming reflects The Summit Way.
Be an advocate for Summit in all customer interactions.

Must be certified or working towards obtaining an Alberta Child Care certification.
Must be certified or working towards obtaining First Aid level C.
A valid Police check with a vulnerable sector search - obtained within 3 months of employment.
